Today an arson threat was made against the institution. As such, the school was evacuated and thoroughly inspected by the Guyana Police Force and The Guyana Fire Department. The school was deemed safe for occupancy. Therefore, the administration of the Bishops’ High School wishes to inform parents/guardians that there will be school tomorrow January 19, 2023.
The administration of the Bishops’ HighSchool would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patient support even when you did not have much information. The administration would also like to assure you that the Staff, Dept. of Education, Board of Governors, Old Students’ Association and the Parent Teachers Association are working with the Principal, doing everything they can, to ensure the safety and security of staff and students while at school.
